Dear Captains and Crews,
At the moment, all looks worthy of proceeding with our Lunch Cruise to Bluewater Waterfront Grill this Saturday, October 13th.
This day was selected, because it allows us to travel up the Cape Fear River on the incoming tide, arrive at Snow's Cut about 1.5 hours before High Tide and travel down the Cape Fear River after lunch on the outgoing tide.
The seas at the mouth of the Cape Fear River on Saturday are forecasted as 2-foot wave height, 7-seconds apart, with 8kt winds from the east.
The weather forecast for Saturday for Holden Beach, Southport and Wrightsville Beach is mainly sunny, highs in the mid-70s with 0% chance of rain.
I just confirmed with Bluewater Waterfront Grill our reservation for 23 people for lunch at 1230.
At the moment we have 4 boats captained by Jim Hutchison (Cruise Captain), Bob Bricker, John Cardwell and Richard Smith carrying a total of 21 people.
Two SRSPS Members are driving to Bluewater Waterfront Grill making a total of 23 for lunch.
We will depart from the SeaScape Marina at 1030 sharp, so please inform your crews to be aboard your boat and ready to launch by 1030.

DEPARTURE from SeaScape Marina at 1030h
Seascape Marina is on the ICW ~1.25 nm east of the Holden Beach Bridge.
We will cruise east in the ICW to Southport, north on the Cape Fear River to Snow’s Cut, east in Snow’s Cut, and north in the ICW to the Bluewater Waterfront Grill.
DOCKING at the Bluewater Waterfront Grill’s wharf
There is NO RESERVED DOCKING, NO DOCK HANDS and NO DOCKING FEE.
The wharf is approximately 120 feet long with 9 cleats along its length.
On the right and left ends of the wharf, there are 3 slips, each 60 feet long

A reservation was made for 16 at 1230h on Saturday, October 13th.
I will finalize the number of people for lunch on October 11th.
We will be seated as a group on the 2nd floor South Patio overlooking the Wrightsville Beach Marina and ICW, as we did last year (see photos).
